Peking University Temple was built in the end of the Ming Dynasty, and there are ancient banyan trees in the temple, which are against the towering temple sharp corners, and the building is beautiful.

Halal Peking University Temple ( Cangzhou Halal Peking University Temple), located in the center of the Hui people's settlement area of Jiefang Middle Road in downtown Hebei Province, is a key cultural relics protection unit in the province. It is one of the four major mosques in China, and is famous for Huaisheng Temple, Quanzhou Mosque and Jining Mosque in Guangzhou. The first translation of the Qur'an was born here, the famous Muslim gathering place.

The temple was built in the late Ming Dynasty, lasted 18 years, and was completed in 1420. The main builder was the 16th Palm of Wu Xuemeng, the Bishop of the former Peking University Temple. Because a relative of Wu's family was in the court at the time, the court had allocated 40 yuan to make funds, plus the generous help of Hui residents. In the early year of Ming Yongle, 40 square meters of land was set up for this purpose, and Zhang, Wang, Li, Liu, Yuan, Dai, Ma, Hui, Wu Jiujiu Hui, and generously funded by the Tongzu of Yuan, was completed in Yongle 18 years (1420), which is one of the larger mosques in China. The Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China were repaired twice. It was damaged in 1966, and the government allocated funds to repair and restore the original appearance in 1980. It is a key cultural relics protection unit in the country.

Although the location is a bit difficult to find, it is better than fewer people, no noisy environment, the whole atmosphere is very nice, not bad 😁
