The Bunker Hill Monument is a famous monument and statue in Boston. The children will like it very much. It's worth visiting. The scenery is so beautiful and the view is very good. It's impossible to get a clear understanding of the battle from that land. Nevertheless, the monument is very interesting.

Like many other attractions in Boston, the monument is also related to the War of Independence, and the Battle of Bunker Hill was an important battle. The monument was built earlier and mimicked the obelisk, not enough to go up to see the scenery.

The monument commemorates a battle during the American War of Independence, located on the hill above Charles Town. It is quite interesting to know about American history and understand Boston's history, and the surrounding environment is also good.

Boston's last stop on the road to freedom, but we're at the first stop. The reason is simple, because it takes 294 steps to climb the monument. The road to freedom takes a day to stop, even a day is not enough. If we use this as a terminal, we will probably not be able to climb up after arrival. From the subway station, you can see the towering monument in the distance. Because it snowed that day and the sky was very bad, it was surrounded by a gloomy sky. In front of the monument is the statue of William Prescott, commander of the Bunker Hill campaign. Inside the monument, there is a small exhibition hall for information about the campaign. Under the direction of the enthusiastic staff, we began to muster up courage to climb the heights. Forget that every 10 or 20 steps, there will be numbers to remind you how high you have climbed. Anyway, by the time we finish climbing 294 steps, we will have almost finished, and our breathing is thicker than that of dogs. Boston panoramas can be viewed from different angles through several small windows at the top. But still, the weather was bad, so the view was not terrible.

We came here by chance, the first two days were stormy and the atmosphere was low so the stairs to the top were closed. We were a bit disappointed but glad to have an excuse. Anyway, it’s a great place, it’s an open area, and the small house next to the monument is an early 20th century architectural art, with Italian marble and ornate columns. Best thing is the ferry back to Boston is nearby and for just $3, saves the toil of walking. (And you won't miss the scenery)

Bunker Hill Monument, located on a hill in Charlestown, commemorates the Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775. It was the first major armed conflict between the British Army and colonial militias, with heavy casualties on both sides. It was one of the most famous battles in the War of Independence. The monument began construction in 1827 and was built for visitors in 1843. It is one of the earliest monuments in the United States. It is 67 meters high. It has a magnificent view and a small museum beside the monument. It is very good.
