Dormition Cathedral Review

Located in the corner of the Church Square in the Kremlin, the Cathedral of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary has four golden roofs. It has a very beautiful appearance. The interior of the church is a coffin for the head of the Orthodox Church. It has a long history, but the interior is being renovated and maintained.

The Cathedral of the Ascension of the Virgin is located in the Kremlin. To the north of the church square, one side of the cathedral is the Bell Tower of the Emperor Ivan and the Tsarist Cannon, and the other side is the cathedral where the Virgin's vestment is stored. The church has five golden roofs, which are very conspicuous. The inner part of the church is the coffin of the Orthodox shepherd's head.

Located in the north of the Cathedral Square, the five golden domes stand out from a distance. The white exterior wall is slightly low-key. It is different from the luxury of St. Vasili Cathedral. The interior decorative frescoes of the Cathedral are very beautiful.

The Cathedral of the Ascension of the Virgin Mary, located on the north side of the Cathedral Square in the Kremlin Palace, is an Orthodox church. From 1547 to 1896, the coronation ceremonies of successive Russian monarchs were solemnly held here. Tickets for internal visits have been included in the Kremlin's 500 roubles/person tickets. When we visited the interior of the church, we happened to meet a Chinese tour group, so we listened to the guide's explanation and spent about 25 minutes on the tour.

Passing churches, super beautiful. Almost all important ceremonies, including the ascension of the archduke, the coronation of the tsar, the handover of bishops and archbishops, are held here.
