Costume Museum Review

The Customs Museum was set up by the eighth generation shopkeeper, Mr. Shaft and Mr. Bingwei, who has existed in Kyoto since 1705. Mr. Shaft and Mr. Bingwei are very interested in the history of customs (folk culture). Since 1950, they have served as advisers on the history of costumes in different institutions and important ceremonies. In order to let you know more about the story of Genji and the era of peace, in 1974, Mr. Shaft and the guard set up the Customs Museum on the fifth floor of Shaft Fashion Shop.
