Built in 1886 on the riverbank of the Central Business District, this beautifully restored building boasts a landmark green vaulted dome and is currently operated by the University of Queensland as a cultural, educational and heritage facility. Behind the huge Collins pillar, there are delicate conference rooms, charming banquet halls, licensed restaurants and an information center. The customs building is open to visitors. Tourists can stroll through the building, through the display of Customs souvenirs representing the past time, stimulate your imagination and capture her historical atmosphere.
