In the county town of Malipo County, Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, there is a hill about 100 meters high, covered with dense pine trees, and inconspicuous in the surrounding mountains. However, on the top of this unremarkable hill, there is a huge rock called "King Rock". The rock wall of this king rock is painted more than 4,000 years ago in the Neolithic period, and has been determined by the State Council as a key cultural relics protection unit in the country, which is the most important humanistic landscape in Malipo County. The rock paintings of Dawangyan are composed of 25 different sizes and shapes, and are about 3 meters high from the bottom to the top. At present, the lower half of Dawangyan rock paintings have been protected by a newly built wall, and ordinary tourists can only look up at some of the rock paintings outside the wall. The gate in the middle of the fence must be opened to see the whole picture of the king's rock painting.
