The Dubai Museum is located near the Dubai River. It's a comprehensive museum. It opened in 1971. Located in the Castle of Fahidi, it was built in 1787. The former palace, fortress and coastal fortress is the oldest building in Dubai. Walking into the museum is like entering the Time Tunnel. From the museum's open-air exhibition, you can see the model houses of the ancient Arabs, including the earliest wind towers. The indoor exhibition area, located at the bottom of the castle, is an antique market, an art gallery with traditional Arab features, including bronzes from ancient tombs with a history of 3-4,000 years. It's hard to imagine that Dubai has undergone such a dramatic change in just a few decades, from a shabby fishing village to an international metropolis in the 21st century, because of the discovery of oil. It's worth slowly appreciating.
