It is a bright yellow building built in the early 20th century during the French colonial period. The Gallery has three floors, designed by Vietnamese and French designers, so it has both Vietnamese and French characteristics in style. Vietnam was nationalized after liberation in 1975. It was established as an art museum in 1987. It was officially opened to the public in 1991. At present, it belongs to the first-class National Museum of Vietnam. If you don't understand the art works collected in the library, it's also pleasant to see the architecture.
