Tofukuji Funda-in (Sesshu-ji) Review

Instead, the shoji paper embedded in the colored leaves and pine needles is very impressive.

Xuezhou Zen Master is known as the saint of Japanese painting. In Kyoto, he lives mostly in the snow boat garden of Dongfu Temple. Although it is also called Xuezhou Temple, it is actually a part of Dongfu Temple, not a single temple. But when we visited, we sold tickets alone, 300 yen per person.

The courtyard is built by Yang's painter, Snow Boat and other artists at the end of the courtyard "Crane and Turtle", alias "Snow Boat Temple". In addition, there are also "Huiguantang" that can drink tea in the courtyard, which was called "Tea Guanbai" in Edo era. Because whenever we visit Dongfu Temple, we have to drink tea and build "Tunan Pavilion". Huiguantang Pavilion was rebuilt from Tunan Pavilion.

Stop at a restaurant on the street and order Yuzi pork chop. The color is delightful and the taste is excellent. Then go on and walk along the Nara Railway to the nearest bus stop and sit at Xuezhou Temple.
