After converting to Christianity at the beginning of the fourth century, Armenia was transformed into a royal summer villa of Tiridates III sister Khosrovidukht. According to some scholars, it was not a temple but a tomb, so it survived the widespread destruction of pagan structures. The Temple collapsed in the earthquake of 1679. The renewed interest in the 19th century led to the excavation of the site in the early and mid-20th century and its eventual reconstruction from 1969 to 1975. The Canyon near the temple is very beautiful. The ancient Roman style bathroom opposite the temple has disappeared, and only a small mosaic imagines the original scene. There are many stalls outside the park - "Gatta, a famous local bag, 2000 dirhams, with stuffing in the middle. It's apricot season. The apricot varieties here are different. They are big, sarcophagus, sweet and sour. They are delicious.
