The lintels of the four portals under the pagoda were painted with exquisite lines of the Tang Dynasty. There were two well-preserved stone tablets on the left and right sides of the south gate at the bottom of the pagoda. They were written by Li Shimin of Taizong Tang Dynasty. The great calligrapher Zhu Suiliang's handwriting was written by Xuanzang's relatives in October, 2003. Hands erect. Up to the top of the tower, you can see the Chang'an scenery from the far side of the fence. There are many buses to Dayan Pagoda in the city, which is the preferred place for tourism to Xi'an.
