This place is basically to see the viaduct. There is nothing else to see. Be sure to remember to check the train time on the Internet to see the scene of the train whistle smoke, or buy a train ticket, shoot from the window, very good

Glenfinnan is the place to shoot the viaduct in Harry Potter, a small train station, few people, this dog honestly squat there, I don't care about my camera. Walking to the viaduct is to take a trail behind the train station. I went around in circles with fat people for a long time to find it. The trail in late autumn is beautiful (the UK is quite cold in October and it is raining).

The tour in Glenfinnan began at 11 o'clock, just in time for a passenger train passing by the viaduct, barely taking a vision photo. Then walked to the railway viaduct and the nearby hillside highlands, and viewed the bridge from different angles, which has been centuries old and is the oldest concrete structure in the world. With 21 arches, the elevated arch bridge at its highest point 30 meters above the ground is very impressive, and the semicircular long arc design is also amazing for the ingenuity of designers and craftsmen hundreds of years ago. Across the road from the visitor center is a tall monument, topped by a sculpture of the character known as Prince Charlie, built in memory of Edward Stewart, Prince Charles of Scotland, who in 1745 unveiled the uprising against the invasion of England. His leadership, which was intended to restore the throne of Great Britain to the family, ended in defeat at the Battle of Carolden, which in fact ended the story of the so-called James's party taking the throne in British history. But posterity built such a tall monument in this beautiful place to give the prince a romantic failed hero image. Tourists can climb to the top of the monument, but that requires additional tickets. We feel that the two scenery on the commanding heights on the hillside behind the visitor center is enough to have a wide view, and the surrounding mountains are even more vast.

Glenfinnan is a famous attraction in Fort William. The most famous here is the ancient steam train on the mountain bridge. It is also the location of the Harry Potter movie. It is like a picture. It is definitely worth to feel the beauty of nature.
