Guanghuating is located on the hillside to the east of Zhongshan Mausoleum in the Zhongshan Mausoleum Scenic Area, Xuanwu District, Nanjing City. It was built in 1931-1934, designed by Liu Dunxuan Architects, and contracted the building of Jiang Yuancheng Stone Factory in Fujian Province. It was built with the grant of overseas Chinese from Mr. Sun Yat-sen Feng'an.

The pavilion doesn't seem very attractive, but its story is worth remembering.
