Hakodate Chyukakaikan Review

The building of the China Club is indeed Chinese style. The display inside is also some relevant information related to our Chinese people. But if the time is not very abundant, I personally feel that this place does not need to be special.

The Hakodate Chinese Hall is the only Chinese-style building in Japan, and the northernmost Guandi Temple in Japan, built by the early overseas Chinese of Hakodate. The historical materials of the Chinese and overseas Chinese in Hakodate are displayed inside, but due to the aging of the building, the interior is not open yet, only to visit the appearance, but as an important component of the history of the opening of the port in Hakodate, the Chinese Hall is still worth visiting.

It is the only fully preserved Qing Dynasty building in Japan with Chinese national characteristics after the Second World War. Although there is no China Street in Hakodate in Hokkaido, the Chinese club here still has evidence of ancient China's connection with it, which can be seen.
