I've always been puzzled how Krumlov was able to keep such a medieval city intact when other countries in Central Europe, such as Yugoslavia, were bombed in the Second World War. I have to make up for this period of history. Whether it's escaping artillery fire or rebuilding after the war, we still want to thank Krumlov for presenting such a fascinating Medieval town to the world.

    Czech Republic is a disaster-prone country, sandwiched between Eastern and Western Europe, occupied and ruled by different countries and different nationalities.
