Although it's raining all the time, in order to enjoy the beautiful night scenery along the river, we went to the riverside of Pudong in the rain. Here we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Bund across the river. The elegant buildings with different styles are decorated with bright lights. A cruise ship hung a shining coat shuttles through the river, adding a colorful shadow to the river.

Shanghai is split in two by the Huangpu River, which divides the city into Puxi, west of the river, and Pudong, east of the river. Both terms can be used in a general sense for everything on their side of the river, including various suburbs.

A night cruise along this river is a fantastic way to see the city lights, the are something else. We paid extra to get up front on the boat and it was well worth it as we had uninterrupted viewing. An absolute must do in Shanghai.

View of the Pearl Tower and river Huang Phu is very beautiful. Both sides of the Huang Phu River are lit up in the evening, very beautiful. I went here two days in a row.

The Huangpu River in Shanghai is a vital artery of the city, flowing through its heart and serving as a symbol of its rapid development. Along its banks, you'll find a mesmerizing blend of old and new, with historic buildings juxtaposed against modern skyscrapers. A cruise along the river offers panoramic views of Shanghai's iconic skyline, including landmarks like the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Shanghai Tower, and the historic Bund waterfront. At night, the river comes alive with colorful lights
