The statue of Hus, north of Prague's Old Town Square, is a renowned Czech religious reformer and the first president of Charlie University in Prague. Because of his opposition to the Roman Catholic Church, he was later executed by the Pope's Religious Court by spreading heresy in violation of religious rules. The statue was made 13 years from 1902 to 1915, and the location of the statue was where Huth was executed.
