Tianjin Jiulongshan National Forest Park is located in Chuanfangyu, east of Jiuxian County, 20 kilometers away from the county, with a total area of 2,126 hectares. Jiulongshan is an ecological natural scenic spot with forest landscape as the main body, and it governs the three major scenic spots of Jiulongshan, Limutaishan and Huanghuashan. Jiulong Mountain Scenic Area was a royal garden in Qing Dynasty for 30 years and nine years in Tongzhi. It was approved as a forest park in 1995 and upgraded to a national forest park in 1997.
