In the eastern Qaidam Basin, on the grasslands of Huaitou, there are two large and small, beautiful and quiet lakes of Lake Crook called Lake Keluk and Lake Tosu. Located 30 kilometers southwest of Delingha City, Lake Crook is connected to the salty and light waters of Lake Tosu, known as "Tabu Lake", "Crook" is Mongolian, meaning "grassful beach, water grass beautiful place".
