The Meiji Customs House was established in Meiji 42 (1909) and the Mensi Customs House was designed by architectural technician Nguyen Shou Rongxuan under the guidance of his wife Mu Lai Huang. The red brick, tiled building is now open to the public as an art exhibition room, a viewing room and a customs information display room. Free to visit, but only until 5 p.m.
