[slaughter] Almost isolated from the world, like a beautiful and quiet girl, unique in many English villages, Slaughter Village is divided into the upper and lower two "sister" villages, 20 minutes walking distance. This is a beautiful and quiet village, a small river passing through the village, on both sides of the winding river, are stone houses built along the river, each old house is carefully rested lawns and small gardens, and the village road is shaded by trees. The towering church spires, along with the tall trees and honey-colored stone houses, form the village's beautiful skyline. [Down Slaughter Village] built along the Eye River, has a proud historical origin, and there are documents that the village has existed for more than 1,000 years. There are two centuries-old old stone bridges on the river in the village, and an old mill on the river in the west of the village. The old mill, powered by the drop of the river, was built in the 19th century and although it was deactivated in 1958, it is still protected as an important historical monument and a famous attraction in the village. "Old dead vines and crow, small bridges and flowing water people." Walk along the river to the village of Lower Slaughter, a simple sandstone hut presented in front of you, colorful flowers decorating the courtyard in front of the hut, I walked into the picture. We had afternoon tea at the parking restaurant in Lower Slaughter Village. Renovated, online, uploaded photos, sent circle of friends. Some people went to leave Upper Slaughter Village. [Upper Slaughter Village (Upper-slaughter)] It took only ten minutes to walk here from Upper Slaughter Village along the river. Entering the small village, I really have a glimpse of the feeling of sister village, the same beautiful village, the same river, the same old stone bridge on the same river, the same honey-colored stone house.
