On the way back from Hengshan Dajue Temple, I saw the famous Luohe Datie Bridge, which was a key node of railway transportation connecting North China and Northeast China at that time. In 1892, Zhan Tianyou, a famous railway engineer in China, participated in the design and construction. In 1935, a new double-line bridge was built 45 meters upstream. After the new bridge was opened, the old bridge was once retired and changed to a road bridge after 1949.
