Maligne, meaning "sinister" in French, was named the Marin River after a Belgian priest was blocked by rapid currents when he tried to cross the river downstream in 1846. Maline Canyon (Maligne Canyon) is a deep valley formed by the Maline River erosion of limestone, surrounded by eroded cliffs, the narrowest range is only 1 meter, the deepest of the steep rock wall is 55 meters, is one of Canada's most magnificent and narrowest canyons. When winter comes, the canyon becomes the best place for people to explore. When the water freezes, you can go down to the bottom of the valley, climb the steep ice canyon and experience a thrilling and exciting journey. The Marin Canyon Trail is about 4 kilometers, of which Bridge 2 is the deepest part of the canyon. If time is limited, enter from Bridge 2, Bridge 1, and walk for half an hour to see the best part of the canyon.
