The statue is based on the youth image of Mao Zedong in 1925. The art is now 32-year-old Mao Zedong with a great ambition and a magnificent style. The statue is a reinforced concrete frame structure with Yongding red granite. The total height is 32 meters, 83 meters long and 41 meters wide. It took four years and was completed on December 26, 2009. Take Metro Line 2 to Orange Island Station is the fastest way to reach, but after exiting the subway, it takes a long way to get to Zhoutou. It is recommended to take a 20 yuan shuttle bus. You can get off at one stop to visit small attractions, and then you can sit directly at the statue of Chairman Mao.
