Mausoleum at Halicarnassus Review

This is the mausoleum of the governor of the ancient kingdom of Caglia in the 11th century BC, Mossolas, known as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world for its unique architectural design, grand architectural scale and exquisite carvings inside and outside the mausoleum. An earthquake in the 12th century and stones carried to strengthen the fortress in the early 16th century caused great damage to the tomb, and only a few remnants of the wall are left. Among them, the carved fragments are currently treasured in the British Museum.
