The central square of Ljubljana, the city square, is not big. In the middle is the Baroque Kaniola fountain built in 1751. On the base of the obelisk column, three groups of exquisite marble statues are sculpted. They are said to represent Slovenia's three rivers - the Sava, Krka and Ljubljana.
