The museum, located behind the St. Paul's archway, is built in the underground corridor, and the door is opened along the steps to the grave of Father Fan Lian, founder of St. Paul's College. You will be immediately surrounded by a solemn religious atmosphere. Through the glass, you can see the orange-red sacred objects on both sides of the walls, and these transparent dumplings contain the remains of some Japanese and Vietnamese martyrs. You can also see an altar carved in marble, a cross and a cemetery on this unique boulder. Move from the solemn tomb room next door, and you will be much more relaxed because this is the Catholic Museum of Art! The collection includes religious books, sculptures and ceremonial ornaments, all selected from the collections of all churches and monasteries in Macau. Among the most striking are the Statue of St. Vincent, the Martyrdom of Nagasaki, Japan, and four works that interpret the life of St. Francis.
