National Gallery of the United States, located on the west steps of the United States Capitol, on the north side of the National Lawn and at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue, consists of two granite buildings of different styles, one in the west, is a neoclassical building, Ancient Greek architecture. One in the east is a triangular building full of modern style. The two buildings together form the National Gallery of the United States. The West Pavilion, built in 1937, is a neoclassical architecture of ancient Greek architecture, elegant and solemn, designed by famous architect John Ressel Pope. The collections of the museum range from the early Italian Renaissance, Impressionist, Parisian to modern art, almost encompassing the essence of each period, and are displayed in a chronological order. There are treasures of masters such as da Vinci, monet, van Gogh, and pao ce尚.
