As the most famous palace in Europe, it is overcrowded. There are so many tourists in the Chinese team that it is more crowded than others that it has some influence on the tour experience. Whether you hold a museum pass or not, you line up with other visitors. The back garden needs another ticket to visit. It is recommended not to miss it. There are fewer visitors in the garden. It is as beautiful as heaven when the weather is clear. When you walk downstairs through the main building, there's Angelina's dessert house on a corner. It's less crowded than the branch stores in downtown Paris. The backyard is very large, and deep in the garden are the big and small Teriano Palace and the Queen's Farm. If you want to go, it is recommended to buy a small train ticket of 7 euros. Otherwise, it will be difficult to walk several kilometers.

We also selected the package of visiting the personal chambers of the king, so a lot of my pictures are from there. If you intend to visit, I strongly suggest you check their website first and book your tickets in advance.

The palace is so intricate and luxurious it’s hard to wrap your mind around and it certainly makes you understand why the French had a revolution. It’s astonishing and will leave you speechless, angry, and amazed. A very memorable sight to see and a highlight of the trip. recommended

It’s worth a day trip if you want to explore the gardens. I walked over 5mi and didn’t even make a dent in the gardens, so I’d plan to arrive early and bring good walking shoes. nice palace

The Place of Versailles, located in Versailles, France, was originally a hunting lodge and private retreat for Louis XIII and his family. In 1624, Jacques Lemercier was commissioned to build a château on the site, which is preserved today as the exterior facade overlooking the Marble Court. Under Louis XIV's guidance, the residence was transformed into an extravagant complex surrounded by French and English gardens.
