Patan was founded in the 3rd century A.D. and is the oldest city in Nepal. There are 136 large and small Buddhist temples and 55 Newarylike temples, which are known as the oldest Buddhist city in the world. In 1980, it was listed by UNESCO as one of the 18 key protected ancient cities in Asia. The car stopped on the street a little way from Patanduba Square, and we walked to Duba Square. Still narrow streets, streaming motorcycles, leisurely people, a lot of old buildings scattered in the newly built buildings, the streets are lined with many temples of different sizes and incense. Arriving at the rectangular Patanduba Square in the east, west, north and south, we can still see the numerous temples. Patanduba Square is also one of Nepal's world cultural heritage sites. Apart from the ancient palace, the square has a variety of temples that make people feel like they have entered a religious shrine, where Nepal's most amazing "Newarylike architecture" concentrated display. The so-called "Newarystyle" architectural style (also translated as Nival) is a combination of the two styles of India and Nepal, which is the most distinctive architectural model in Nepal. The temples of this architectural style are mostly wooden, with stone and brick foundations and multi-storey roof towers as the main body. The roof is usually two to three stories, up to five stories, wide eaves and inclined roof, four-sided symmetrical. The eaves, beams and columns, doors and windows are decorated with beautiful wood carvings. The temple is surrounded by stone steps, which are guarded by stone lions, stone elephants or monkeys. In such a dazzling architectural style, in the background of many gods and unpredictable changes, it is difficult for us to understand the vastness and depth of Hinduism. The grandeur of architecture, the color of religion and the beauty of sculpture can only be seen from the outside. The most spectacular one on the square is the Black Sky Temple, also known as the Krishna Temple, which was built in 1636 A.D. The temple is a steeple with five stories. It is built entirely of stone except for the top of the tower. It is like a fine carved stone handicraft. It can be regarded as a miracle of Nepalese architectural art.

If you find a good angle, there are still many places to take good photos, basically red brick buildings. The earthquake loss in Nepal that year was really heavy, and many buildings were damaged, but tickets were increased. .

The Duba Square in Patan is the most exquisite square I have seen in Nepal. On one side of the square, the Patan Museum stands alongside the courtyard of the palace. The eight buildings lined up in turn, a palace of the gods.

Patan Durbar Square is very beautiful here. It's a little outside the city. Take a car out 30-40 minutes, beautiful ancient architecture and surrounded by temples and palaces. Which is the residence of many gods Inside is a very beautiful Museum too.

Pigeon Square is surrounded by temples with big eyes. There are tens of thousands of pigeons. Here, pigeons are the absolute masters. Colored flags are flying, almost like Tibet, and we can't see any difference. I don't know when it started. The flag became the standard symbol of religion. Dogs on the roof here, we see a scene, the domesticated dogs are barking on the roof, wearing randomly, no dog is on the road being led around, which is a major feature. What a wonderful world!
