Puning Temple is a national 5A scenic spot. It was built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1755 A.D.). It is a temple combining Han and Tibet. The first half of the temple is Han style and the second half is Tibetan style. Two different styles of architecture are integrated. In the Mahayana Pavilion of Puning Temple, the Buddhist statue of Thousand-Handed Thousand-Eye Guanyin Bodhisattva is worshipped. Its height is 27.21 meters. It is the largest golden lacquer wood carving Thousand-Handed Thousand-Eye Guanyin Bodhisattva in the world. Incense can be burned in the temple.
