The park is located on the northwest side of the junction of Xinyi Middle Road and South China Express Main Line in Haizhu District, facing Pomegranate Road in the south, about 2 kilometers away from Haizhu Lake, Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center and 10,000 mu orchard. The site was discovered by Wu Shangshi, a professor in the Department of Geography of Sun Yat-sen University in 1937, 100 kilometers from the current coastline, and has been 78 years since. It is the most inland ancient coastal relics recognized in the world, and is a non-renewable natural heritage.
