Cod was fantastic, also the rice with lobster (caldoso de bogavante), and the leg of lamb. Euro 30 per head, including white wine.

On entering this restaurant, I was immediately struck by the complete calmness- not the busy hubbub of a typical Valencian tapas restaurant. The attentive and amiable waiters float around, swiftly dealing with every request. The food is excellent due to the quality and freshness of the produce. We had the hugest oysters I've ever seen, razor clams and massive prawns served on salt - all cooked simply but well so that the natural flavours shone. The only meat dish we tried was a Canelon of chicken, cep and truffle, good if a little lacking in chicken flavour. For desert we shared a millefeuille which was really delicious and not too heavy. Not cheap but worth it considering the quality. Good spot for a romantic meal
