Riomaggiore Review

Rio Maggiore is one of the five towns of Cinque Terre, the southernmost and largest town. From the railway station to the town on the backing side of the mountain, there is an underground passage. The murals of the passage depict how the ancestors of Cinque Terre built the Cinque Terre with bare hands.

We wanted to go here, but later found that this road was closed due to panic, and in early June 2017, we had to take the train to our last stop, walk and take pictures, enjoy the sunset!

July 30, 2016. The colorful house is facing the seaside and is beautiful. All kinds of food and all kinds of small shops make people feel very excited. I had to walk the famous “love road” between Manaraola and Rio Marjorie, but I didn’t know that the local government had been closed because of the danger.

Through the long tunnels, narrow streets, crowded people, suddenly the clear blue Liguria Sea is spread out in front of you, that shock, that kind of refreshing beauty, you must see it yourself to experience the seaside, many sunbathing, swimming, diving, kayaking people, I am very envious of them for their comfort and joy. We tourists with the group did not even bring swimming suits. We can only be a bystander silently. We must come to travel freely in the future. Have fun here for two days~

This is the first village of Cinque Terre. The first stop arrived by the Cinque Terre train. The road to Love has not been open, so it is impossible to go. You can only reach the beach along the road. There are two directions on the beach. One direction is tired. It is climbing up. It is relatively high. You can see many seabirds. The other direction is going down, there are many reefs, you can take pictures of the sea view and the colorful houses in the distance. An hour of sightseeing time is enough, because the time interval of the small train is about an hour, be optimistic about the time, otherwise you will have to wait more than an hour if you miss it.
