The Rogers Center is a large multi-functional open-air stadium adjacent to CN Tower and Lake Ontario, Toronto's famous attractions. The stadium is home to teams such as the Toronto Blue Jays of the American League, the Canadian Football League and Toronto Argonauts of Toronto. Rogers Center is the world's first gymnasium with a fully retractable roof. Its roof consists of four panels, three of which can be retracted or stretched. It takes only 20 minutes to open or close the roof, and it moves at a speed of 21 meters per minute. The Rogers Center is large enough to accommodate eight Boeing 747 aircraft or 616 African elephants at the same time.
