Saint Wenceslas Cathedral Olomouc Review

The tallest building in Olomouc, its clock tower is the fourth tallest building in the Czech Republic. Since Olomouc is on a large plain, the train is still some distance from the city, so you can see the landmark. Coincidentally, the window of the hotel can also see the clock tower. The church is named after the historical King Václav of Bohemia, and the catacombs contain the coffins of heroes and bishops.

I visited this church on a business trip six years ago in the spring. I didn't expect the authentic Roman Catholic church I first stepped into to be so grand. Without knowing their country's history, the most impressive thing is that the church is a wooden inscription in history of the church's name (priest or grand duke?) has several large walls. It is a sacred place, but there are always people who look at the scenery. I was stared at outside the church by a pair of gypsy-like brothers and sisters, probably looking at me as Asian face soft-hearted, constantly harassing me for small money, I was uneasy, I could only run away quickly. Later colleagues said that the Gypsies have been like this for hundreds of years, and now they are difficult to tolerate and can only make a living.

The height of the church is 100 meters, very majestic, especially awesome. The status of the church is obvious in the West.

The church has three Gothic spires that are directly planted in the clouds, and the catacombs and coffins are preserved!
