The aquarium has a wide variety of Australian aquatic life, exhibiting more than 650 species, a total of more than 6,000 fish and aquatic life from Australia's aquatic environment. The museum is feeding a wide range of sharks, ranking among the world's largest, and the world's largest platypus. The treasure of the town hall is the huge confucian mermaid, which currently has only five confucian mermaid fed by aquariums worldwide, including two at the Sydney marine life aquarium.
