Xinghua four-arch building was called "Sijinfang" in the Ming Dynasty and four-arch building after the Qing Dynasty. The inscriptions on the old plaques are unknown except for the inscriptions of "famous poets and painters" by Zheng Banqiao and "quiet and comfortable nature" by Xianfeng Royal Book. In the 1980s, the four archways in Xinghua City were rebuilt. The area of the four archways was almost double that of the original buildings. The original inscriptions were collected from the people. 
