There is only one corner house left in the original building of Yuanhua Street on the island. As the only relic of Yangwu building, the corner house was designated as "important cultural wealth" in 1952. In the mid-Edo period, it was once an important venue for cultural salons. In 1998, the corner house was opened as the "Corner House Reception Museum of Culture and Art". In addition to this, there is also a residence on the street where the residence of Taifu (first-class geisha) and Geisha live. It is not open to the public at present.
