Kuyu Creek is a beautiful garden in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located in the very bustling Kuala Lumpur city, so it is not only in Malaysia, but also in the world.

there are interesting places in this Kuyoh river, one of which is a waterfall with a beautiful view surrounded by rocky areas of the waterfall.

The River of Life : Save Sungai Kuyoh 2.0On the bright Sunday on 10th of December, about 100 volunteers and community members from Uniten, Unisel, PEKA Selangor, PEBT MPSJ, Team Selangor, Grass Malaysia and JKKKP Sri Serdang, has sacrificed their day off for a dip in the river. Technically, the volunteers were really in the river, Sungai Kuyoh in Seri Kembangan. Not your ideal river to spend your morning (for now). The program is to clean up the waste, garbage and everything that does not belong to the river. There were a few groups, in-charge of the river banks and going into the river itself. The program is aimed at creating awareness about the state of our river and to promote the spirit of volunteerism in the community. River as we know is the source of water and habitats for fishes. It is also our natural water catchment area and help to regulate the water flow in the event of heavy rain or flood. However, this cannot be achieved if the river bed is laden with garbage, be it domestic or bulk disposal like furnitures or figurines . What we discovered today shows that we are still behind in our environmental awareness or consciousness. This is also a social experiment since most volunteers are not from the area that we are cleaning up. The lackadaisical attitude from the people surrounding the area does not weaken the spirit these volunteers has in them. Perhaps if we have more signage or prepare designated area to throw old sofa, tyres, or motorcycle, we will not find them in the river. But hey, you and me live in a society that still litters at parking lot and throw rubbish right under the signage. We are positive that the society do realize on the importance of river and we all need encouragement from one another. We thanked everyone who has participated in this program and we do hope it will inspire you to take care of Mother Nature.

Sungai Kuyoh is a river located in KL. Its a well known attraction which draws thousands of visitors each year. Love the scenery there.

Sungai Kuyoh is a major tributary of the Klang River in Kuala Lumpur. A nice place to visit
