Machao Tomb is north-south, rectangular and strong. The tomb is 56 meters around the base and the height of the tomb is about 3 meters. When the Huiqu River was built around 1935, Ma Chao's tomb was opened. After opening the top of the tomb, it was found that the pattern and masonry were both of Han Dynasty, and accorded with the historical records. Therefore, it is undoubtedly the tomb of Ma Chao.

Ma Chao was a General of the Han Dynasty and Qi Grand General. His tomb is located in Jiguang Village next to Wuhou Town, Mian County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province, about 300 meters away from Zhuge Ancient Town.
