Gion Garden is a very important tourist attraction in Jimei Village. You can enjoy the sea view here, which is a good location. Originally a small island on the southeast coast of Jimei, there is a small temple on the island called Shantou Palace, also known as the Qianli Palace, during the Anti-Japanese War, destroyed by the Japanese army. In 1950, Mr. Chen Jiajun built the garden on the ruins. The park covers an area of nearly 9,000 square meters, consisting of three parts: the porch, Jimei Liberation Monument and Chen Jiajun Tomb. The architecture and sculpture in the garden reflect his thoughts of teaching in the tour and teaching in the fun, including Chinese and foreign ancients, astronomy and geography, science and technology, calligraphy and painting, animal and plant, industrial and agricultural production and other aspects, extensive and profound, all-inclusive, is a museum.

Jimei Liyuan includes Mr. Chen Jiajun's former residence, Chen Jiajun Memorial Hall, Return Hall, Return Garden, Jiajun Park and Liyuan, etc., with a total area of about 180,000 square meters, and a construction area of nearly 30,000 square meters. The cultural heritage of the scenic education base is deep, and the architectural landscape is unique. It is a must-visit tourist attraction for Chinese and foreign tourists to visit Xiamen.

The garden and the Chen Jiajun Memorial Hall are in Jiajun Park. After entering the garden, the first to see the porch part of the group of blue stone reliefs, such reliefs can be seen throughout the garden, the carving content is rich, the carving technique is diverse, the collection of the essence of the stone carving in the southern Anhui area, so here also has the southern Anhui "stone sculpture museum" reputation. Behind the porch stands the "Jimei Liberation Monument", the front of the monument is Chairman Mao Zedong's inscription, and the back is the inscription written by Mr. Chen Jiajun himself. Under the stone monument, facing the sea, is Mr. Chen Jiajun's mausoleum. The reason why the garden is called the garden is because it is in the shape of a turtle, and because it is located on a small island, it is called the garden by Mr. Jiajun.
