Since the Tang Dynasty, the successive dynasties have been different, and many times during the Ming Dynasty, the emperor gave the "Wanfu Temple" a swell in the forty-two years of Ming Wanli (1614). In 1928, the temple was destroyed by mountain floods. The Fujian Buddhist Association established a construction committee to repair the Wanfu Temple. 📷📷 Qing Shunzhi for nine years (1652), the abbot of the Xingfu Temple built by the Chinese monks of Nagasaki, Japan, Yiran and Tang Sanji, have repeatedly invited the temple's Yinyuan Dongdu to carry forward the Dharma. In May 1654, Yinyuan led a crowd of 30 people southbound, and arrived in Nagasaki, Japan, on July 5. After arriving in Japan, he was given the favor of the emperor and General Tokugawa Kakamakawa, the Tokugawa Shofu, and established a temple in Ujicidi, Kyoto. After the completion of the new temple, Yinyuan did not forget the old mountain, named the Wanfu Temple of Huangpi Mountain, and founded a new sect, which stood alongside the original Linji and Caodong in Japan, known as Huangpizong.
