Originally known as Lishan Mountain, the national 4A-level scenic spot, is located at the confluence of Taohua River and Lijiang River on Inner Riverside Road, Guilin City, Guangxi District. The mountain is named for its resemblance to a giant elephant standing beside the river, stretching its nose and drinking the Ganquan of Lijiang River. It is called the symbol of Guilin landscape. Xiangshan is famous for its magic. First, it has a similar shape and spirit. Secondly, it creates a bright moon between nose and leg, which forms a "elephant mountain, water and moon" wonder. It looks like a giant elephant with a nose stretching into the drinking water of the Lijiang River. Between the elephant's nose and its legs, there is a round hole with an area of about 150 square meters. The river passes through the hole, such as the floating water of the moon. The elephant mountain, water and moon on the West Bank are opposite to the lunar piercing rock on the East Bank of the Lijiang River. They hang in the sky and float in the water, forming a peculiar landscape of "Lijiang bi-moon". As early as the Tang and Song Dynasties, it became a famous tourist attraction with a history of more than 1000 years.
