The Botai, anciently known as Shangqiu, folk called Mars Platform and Vulcan Platform, is located 3 miles southwest of the ancient city of Shangqiu, Xiangyang District, Shangqiu City, Henan Province.[1] It is a stargazing platform site that has been built in Luoyang for more than 4,500 years. It is more than 2,200 years in the morning. The earliest stargazing platform in China's existing era is a rare physical data for studying the history of Chinese astronomical development, and has extremely high scientific research value.
