The Wuyuan Cave Group is located in Nanlushan Town, 7 kilometers northwest of Wuyuan County. It has been discovered that there are more than 100 caves in a 5 square kilometer radius centered on the Wuyuan Ape Man Site, all developed in the thick mud crystal limestone of the Middle Ordovician. Because of its large number, the distribution is particularly concentrated, and it is always called the Wuyuan Tumen Karst Cave Group. This is the largest cave group in northern China, known by experts as the "first cave group in Jiangbei". It is the first scenic spot in Zibo Ziyuan County to be honored by the national AAAA-level tourist attraction, and it is a good place to go out to travel.
