Located at No. 5 Cuihu North Road, Wuhua District, it is located in the west and east, covering an area of 695 ． 8 square meters, and the building area of 875 ． 9 square meters. It is a typical wooden courtyard house building in the Qing Dynasty. The furnishings and exhibitions in the former residence are an important window to understand the history of Shiping culture.

The former residence of Yujiagu is a typical Yunnan Han-style building, with two floors and four dripping water, a central symmetric courtyard, and a library in the backyard. It is rarely open to tourists, and the gate is generally locked, but the simple gate can still see the vicissitudes and ages here.
