A great little BistroWe decided to take the newly extended MTR Island Line to Kennedy Town on a misty Sunday afternoon or a look around and something to eat. Bistro Du Vin looked perfect, just like an authentic French bistro! The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. We chose from the special 3 course meal menu, We started with the signature Egg Brandade and Bayonne Ham Salad, for mains Daily Catch (Salmon) and US Rib eye and fries. To finish Creme Brulee and Pink Tirimisu all washed down a bottle of oit... yum all for 557 HKD including service charge and a steady supply of warm bread. High points; the egg Brandade, salad and the Rib eye was superb, well marbled, full of flavour and cooked perfectly over charcoal. Low points just the pink Tirimisu which didnt impress. Do we recommend and will we return; Yes. Points to improve; when you visit a bistro in France you can rely on a selection of wine including reasonably priced reds. I am more than happy to spend some extra dollars for...

There are a lot of French snacks here. Never miss it. The chefs are all French.
