I'd dinner with a friend at Papillon tonight. The cream of cauliflower soup was lukewarm and watery and tasted even worse than canned soup. The ravioli with porcini mushroom and fontina cheese in cream sauce was lukewarm also and both looked and tasted like processed food. I hate lukewarm food. The service was lousy. Even though the menu was very short, the wait staff couldn't explain to us properly what some of the dishes actually were. They once wrongly brought us a dish we didn't order. The restaurant was very noisy and the tables cramped together. The air-conditioning wasn't strong enough and I felt hot during my whole meal. It's the first and very likely my last time to Papillon.

    4/5Excellent

Happened upon the cafe by chance, their daily fixed menu looked interesting and reasonably priced, so went in. The food we had was fine and good value for the price. However what enhanced our experience of the cafe was the service received. The staff were very attentive and responsive. So good to have water brought as soon as you are seated without being asked. A very pleasant and relaxing lunch break, worth seeking out on the 17th floor of the Hopewell Centre

Had burger for lunch and was delighted as the burger turn out to be very good. The salad and fries that comes with it were good too. Had a large coffee and apple juice, satisfy with the food and price is OK. Take a ride on the glass lift to 57 floor and enjoy the view of the city and Victoria bay.
