Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Review

Our day was planned around a couple at this very quaint old pub. Nice sunny day along Fleet Street, then the heavens opened up and it hailed, so we scarpered up the little alleyway to the side entrance of the pub for shelter. We enjoyed a quick drink in the tiny little bar......the beer was excellant. Such a great experience to be imbibing in a place with so much history. I f you get a chance, pop in for a quiet one or two.

A tavern in a very long time, the dishes inside are very traditional wine dishes, there is no decoration, eating is the feeling of the age, the house has a history of more than 300 years, the menu looks very shabby.

Sure enough, this trip is worthwhile. Although there are more people, it can't stand the beauty. The whole process is pleasantly surprised.

The waiter will take the initiative to say hello, very intimate, praise for the service

The Old Cheshire Cheese Tavern, rebuilt after the fire of 1666, has a long and wonderful history. It was once a frequent place for Mark Twain, Alfred Tennyson and Charles Dickens, and today it is full of atmosphere and wine and delicacies.
